Vanessa Moses
Vanessa Moses is a native Metro Detroiter who has spent over 20 years building networks and businesses through fueling her passion for connecting with people and connecting people with others. After making a big move to Chicago in 2003, Vanessa dove into real estate and became a successful city realtor. Looking for an outlet to expand her cooking passion, in 2010 Vanessa founded Chicago’s biggest cooking club, The Cooking Chicks. After running a host of amazing local to international events for women including food-based excursions to Paris and French pastry boot camp at the esteemed Chicago French Pastry School, in 2014 she ventured off overseas on another business building adventure, this time in Coffee! From 2014 to 2020 Vanessa and her team built one of the largest vertically integrated Coffee Roasting Businesses in the English-speaking Caribbean. Based out of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Roasters’ coffees and brands can be found from cruise ship stops, to cafes, hotels, and more. In May of 2020, she and her husband Mike welcomed their first child. With all the world’s changes going on, they decided to depart from the island and operations and keep a board position role to oversee and support their partner and coffee company CEO from the US.
Now back in Metro Detroit, Vanessa is a new mom to her wonderful toddler, Isabella, and has dove head-first back into real estate expanding Moses & Co., a boutique residential real estate sale, property investment consulting, and insurance business based out of the #1 Michigan-based brokerage office, KW DOMAIN in Birmingham, MI. The focus is not only working with all types of clients, but ensuring women get the most out of understanding home ownership and property investing. Vanessa loves hosting experiences for women to connect on all types of personal and professional levels. Yearning for the cooking club feel, she was excited to link up with Gals that Brunch-- where her passion for events, people, food, and coffee all seem to marry into one!
